The first Black Supreme Court Justice was Thurgood Marshall (1967-1991). Clarence Thomas proceeded him as the second Black Justice (1991-present). Presumably, this tweet is meant to say that Jackson is the first Black woman to become a Supreme Court Justice. [Link]
