Politico in the next tweet gives more context. But this initial tweet is misleading. [Link]

Politico reports that Thomas LITERALLY SAID “They object on religious grounds.. because they were developed using CELL LINES derived from aborted children.” This in no way reflects the headline! I will link to the “untrustworthy” source. [Link]

Clarence Thomas summarized the plaintiff's argument. He did not offer his opinion on it. This headline is grossly misleading. Read his dissent directly.

Justice Thomas' quote is simply a summary of the argument. "They object on religious grounds to all available COVID–19 vaccines because they were developed using cell lines derived from aborted children." [Link]

The implication that Thomas said, "Covid vaccines in the U.S. contain...aborted fetuses," is misleading. He stated that vaccines were "developed using cell lines...from aborted children." [Link] Also, Thomas is not quoting petitioner's brief: no mention of "aborted children". [Link]
