Joe Biden approved more borrowing than any person in history. He's been in an official position since 1973 when the debt was $400B. As Senator, Vice President & President $24 Trillion was approved. The White House Budget proposes $19 Trillion more borrowing over 10 years. [Link]

CEOs making similar claims would be in trouble with the SEC. 2020 had one-yr significant expense that increased the deficit. (Also, do not confuse deficit and debt, those are two different discussions.) Being low next to a 1-time extraordinary deficit is not "decreasing" it.

The deficit in 2022 was the forth highest in history. The deficit was only reduced because Covid policies, which Biden supported, ended. It is misleading to suggest it is due to Biden's fiscal responsibility. National debt is the highest ever, at over $31 Trillion. [Link]
