“Judge not, that you be not judged." Matthew 7:1 "God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?" James 4:12

The Catholic Church does not teach that it is impossible for non-Christians to go to heaven. For a summary of the Church's position: [Link] referencing Mt 19:25-26, and CCC 846-848 ([Link]

Accepted note is refuted by its own sources. The Catholic church's position is that there is no salvation outside of the church, with the only exception being for those who are ignorant of Christ and the Church. This would not include a father who baptized his own children. [Link]

God and heaven almost certainly do not exist, I don’t know why anyone would seek to distress a grieving child publicly by claiming it heresy his father has gone to heaven It’s all fairy tales anyway [Link]

According to the bible (which the Catholic church follows) in James 4:12 it says God is the only one that can judge who is saved and who isn't: "There is one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you that you judge your neighbor?" [Link] [Link]

NNN, as an ex-catholic atheist with a degree in philosophy and religion, there is no one correct answer to what the "church teaches". People believe in different elections and use the Bible and the Church to back themselves up. There should be no note on this. [Link] [Link]
