Ben Gurion Canal is an idea from the 60s. It was never build and building it will be difficult. It was proposed to go through Israel and not Gaza. The Ben Gurion Canal Project was an impracticable plan to use 520 nuclear bombs to make a sea-level canal through a 500m high mountain range and a valley -100m below sea level.
