Black infant mortality has nothing to do with White people. It has a wide range of issues from poorer genetics, lower class living, disease and many other facts. Using racism to change the optic doesn't change the truth. [Link]

It is true that black IMR are higher than whites. But studies have found IMR correlated more with socioeconomic status, educational status, employment, wedlock status, maternal age, substance abuse, pre-natal care access and birth weight, than with race. [Link]

The idea that educational status, employment rate, etc. have nothing to do with race and that if you factor them out, then it looks race neutral, is egregious

The proposed notes are ridiculous. Suggesting racism has nothing to do with her claim, then listing out exactly what structural racism is defined by. If you want to debate what contributes to racism, do it in the comments
