Aaron Bushnell committed self-immolation as an act of protest against the genocide taking place in Gaza, Palestine. He was not preaching in favor of Hamás, and it is undeniable that Israel is committing genocide, so both accusations are factually wrong. [Link]

The ICJ did not ruled that there is a genocide in Gaza and did not order Israel to stop the war. So the the “undeniable genocide” did not convince people who actually do this for a living.
