This works. A note is needed to warn people to not try it. It could cause severe dammage to your ligaments. [Link]

NNN, they literally say it works below the image, trying it even after reading that is just Darwinism at that point.

NNN this is a way of diagnosing "Quervian's tendonitis", and will not in fact cause injury. [Link] the above source contains the original image in the post above the section on diagnosing Quervian's tendonitis.

This is the Finkelstein's test. And it is a test used to diagnose de Quervain's tenosynovitis in people who have wrist pain. [Link]

Ok if you're going to throw out "NNN" you need to understand that while the information may be correct, adding further context can still be extremely important. Like say I don't know... To stop people from trying to break their thumbs to see if the users claim is true.

This is the Finkelstein's test, and it is a test used to diagnose de Quervain's tenosynovitis in people who have wrist pain, but you can still cause an injury trying it, so I recommend not doing it forcefully if you don't want to end up in the hospital. [Link] [Link]
