Access to abortion is now in the French Constitution. This is not the same thing as a Constitutional right. Article 34 will now read “The law determines the conditions under which a woman's freedom to have a voluntary interruption of pregnancy is exercised”. [Link]ésident%20de%20la%20République. [Link]

France is the first country to have 'explicitly' written the right to abortion into the Constitution. In 1974 Yugoslavia's Constitution had an article that described the 'right to decide freely on procreation'. [Link] [Link]

Doesn't need a note. The freedom to voluntarily interrupt a pregnancy is now established in the French Constitution. The fact that this right requires additional regulation through law doesn't make it any less of a constitutional right.
