Note by Lovable Sand Cockatoo is misleading. "Countless" studies proving no benefit don't necessarily cancel a study that shows a benefit. A proper note would then state scientific disagreement.

Research on ivermectin's effectiveness for COVID-19 treatment is ongoing and has produced mixed results. Major health organizations (CDC, WHO, FDA) currently do not recommend ivermectin for COVID-19 treatment outside of clinical trials. [Link] [Link] [Link]

From the referenced study, "Ivermectin for COVID-19 is unlikely to provide clinically meaningful improvement in recovery, hospital admissions, or longer-term outcomes. Further trials of ivermectin for SARS-Cov-2 infection in vaccinated community populations appear unwarranted." [Link]

Using the same organizations that demonstrably have purposely misled as authoritative sources is an example of GIGO. This is exactly why the current narrative should be questioned. A meta analysis provides a better overview than any single study. [Link]

Social media started a conspiracy theory that ivermectin & hydroxychloroquine were suppressed. Emergency use authorization (EUA) allows use of unapproved products if criteria are met. Current evidence shows they are not effective in treating COVID. [Link] [Link] [Link] [Link] [Link] [Link] [Link]
