The calculator is not wrong. This user appears to be unaware of basic mathematical concepts taught in primary school. [Link]

Hitting the equal sign after 50 + 50 will give the answer 100 & is kept in the phone's memory. When followed by x 2, phones understands the problem as 100 x 2 thus the answer 200. Typing in 50 + 50 x 2 followed by '=' caused the app to solve 50 × 2 1st then add 50 thus 150. [Link]

A standard calculator typically completes each operation linearly, & does not perform multiple operations together, which would trigger the use of Order of Operations. On a simple calculator or the "standard" setting in Windows, typing 50 + 50 * 2 = 150 due to 50 + 50 = 100

The calculator uses BEDMAS which is taught in elementary maths. Apple is using the same concept [Link]

The calculator is not wrong. Using PEMDAS/BEDMAS, the equation 50 + 50 * 2 would be solved by first multiplying 50 * 2, in which the product is 100. The next step would be to add 50 to 100, which makes the solution to the equation 150. [Link]
