Despite the assertion of this statement “trans children” do not exist - there are male children & female children, some of whom are led to believe their unhappiness stems from being “born in the wrong body”, a mistaken ideological belief for which no reputable research exists. [Link]

NNN claiming there is no such thing as trans kids in the context of the Cass Report, on the best healthcare options for ... trans kids ... is wild. Leave the uninformed transphobia to the comment section.

This is an attempt at face-saving by way of disinformation. A competent child-focussed + serious organisation wouldn’t have needed ‘clarification’ of information clearly detailed in the review itself. The early ‘analyses’ clearly weren’t as they couldn’t have read the review. [Link]

Current note misleading. Systematic reviews featured in Cass did not use GRADE but the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale[1], a change from plan in preregistration where MMAT was indicated[2]. Very existence of the note suggests confusion and lack of clarity on this point. [1] [Link] [2] [Link]

The Cass Report is under review by academics, activists, LGBTIQA+ community members, who have been raising considerable concerns around the consistency of approach, linkage of 'accepted research' to conclusions and recommendations, who the review team met with, etc. [Link] [Link]
