GVK Group was given the ownership of Mumbai Airport by UPA-I in 2006. They had more than 50% stake by 2011. Due to high debt issues GVK sold its stake in 2021 to Adani Group. Similarly many other airports were also running on PPP & currently Adani Group operates 6 airports. [Link] [Link]
