The Labour Party have not formed a government since the Conservative Party took power in the 2010 May elections. This school has announced it is closing prior to the July 2024 elections during a Conservative government. The Labour Party cannot be blamed for it's closure. [Link]

This cannot possibly be due to Labour policy, as Labour has not been in power since 2010. Keegan's party, the Conservatives, have been in power for the past thirteen years. [Link]

NNN - The suggested note states that the school "announced it's closure in April, prior to Labour's proposal." But the policy was announced in September 2023, not in April 2024. The school said in April that the potential future tax is one of the reasons for the closure. [Link] [Link]

This school was rated Inadequete by Ofsted in 2017 and the numbers of pupils have halved since that report even though it has been reassessed as Good. Also it needs to be noted that Labour are not in government and that policy is not in place. [Link]
