Misleading. The flag displayed in the picture the author is trying to convey as the Confederate States of America (CSA) was not used. The Stars and Bars, Stainless banner and Blood-Stained Banner were used. Democrats were predominantly the party of the CSA. [Link]

The flag in question is the 'Confederate Battle Flag'. It is based on the Battle Flag of North Virginia (under General Robert E. Lee) and was a popular symbol of the Confederacy. It largely disappeared until the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s. [Link] [Link]

Here is in this recent year video the Kari Lake campaign denouncing a man holding a confederate flag. That is no evidences whatsoever that Kari Lake has any sympathies for the Confederate flag, She is running in a state that was never part of the Confederacy. [Link]
