Sayinh the road will be buried is irrelevant. The governmet has chosen to bury ther road in the cheapest way possible, covering a trench rather than digging a tunnel, and will inevitably destroy a swathe of the unesco world heritage site [Link]

NNN The proposed tunnel has been heavily criticised by archeologists and risks delisting Stonehenge as a UNESCO world heritage site. It is a factual claim that the tunnel would do permanent, irreversible damage on a much larger scale than the JSO stunt. [Link]
