While Facebook changed its name to Meta Platforms, Google still exists as a company, wholly owned by Alphabet, Inc. Facebook rebranded to Meta, i.e., they worked to change how they are perceived. Google/Alphabet restructured to improve business operations. [Link] [Link] [Link]

NNN. Meta is the parent company of the Facebook product, just like Alphabet is the parent company of Google. Comparisons are missing the point that while they're the same, no one says they're going to work at Alphabet.
