No note needed. Yes, creators have been able to remove copyright claimed music from parts of their videos, but being able to remove the music but keep your voice in the clip is new. Previously it would remove all audio from the clip.

This feature existed for over 10 years. It would try to remove the background music and retain the other sounds such as voice even back then. It's described in detail in 2013 German articles. It's likely much better now but it's not a new feature. [Link] (German) [Link] (German) [Link] [Link] [Link]

YouTube has had the ability to remove just the background music while retaining the voice of the speaker for a while now, at least 5+ years. So that is not new.

This is not a new feature. Note that it was in beta before, but the option was still accessible. [Link]

NNN. The post says that YouTube will soon release the option to mute the music. Nowhere did they claim that it is a new technology.

Re current NNNs: - “Nowhere did they claim that it is a new technology.”: Yes, but it claims that the feature is being released just now, when it has already existed for years. - The notes saying that the ability to keep voices is new: No, it isn’t, this has existed for years

This is not a new feature, being available since 2013, with the ability of removing the music from processed videos since 2022. [Link]#" target="_blank">[Link] [Link]" target="_blank">[Link] [Link]
