This is wrong on 2 accounts. Red Bull's 1-2 at the '16 Malaysian GP is the youngest team in F1 history with 16897 days combined vs 17524 days for McLaren's Hungary '24 1-2. [Link] The youngest 1-2 overall was by the non-team duo of Verstappen and Leclerc at the '19 Austrian GP. [Link]

NNN - The post is talking about team 1-2’ so this post by McLaren is factually correct.

This is false as they combine for 17524 days at Hungary '24. The team with the youngest 1-2 is Red Bull Malaysia '16 with 16897 days combined. [Link] McLaren's youngest 1-2 is Malaysia '07 with 17510 days. [Link] The overall youngest 1-2 (no teammates) is Austria '19 with 15870 days. [Link]

Humourous dune flatbill- it is not even the youngest 1-2 in McLaren history. Alonso and Hamilton were younger at Malaysia ‘07. Verstappen and Ricciardo were younger at Malaysia ‘16 also. It is incorrect whatever way it is interpreted [Link] [Link]
