NNN. And the proposed note does not consider per capita GDP which is the standard for measuring economic health. Canada is the fastest growing population in the G7 which will result in higher total GDP growth vs peer counties. [Link]

OP CN is solid. Pierre didn't specify per capita, and even if he had, a Fraser Institute study is problematic given their bias, and how often they're caught giving misleading information. [Link]

PP states Canada is shrinking. It’s the only negative per capita GDP county in the G7. The fastest growing claim is technically correct but totally untrue. [Link] Canada is going from -1.7% to -1% growth. We are shrinking less fast this year. Still shrinking the fastest. NNN.

Growing less quickly than some others is neither “shrinking” nor “collapsing,” even if we give the benefit and consider per-capita GDP. The post misleads. [Link]

Per stats Canada, per capita GDP has been dropping since 2022. [Link] We would need 10 years of 1.7% positive growth in per capita GDP to get back to the pre-2015 trend line. We currently have -1% per capita GDP growth. Our economy is shrinking. The original post is correct. NNN
