There was no LIE. AI are reluctant when asked sensitive information which by the way is still under investigation by the FBI and by Congress. The AI actually did great and didn’t speculate or misinform. Therefore the was no lie as the tweet is suggesting. [Link]

OP's post is an opinion that is backed by the photo. OP did not ask for Meta AI to speculate. OP asked about the assassination, to which facts could have been provided such as the date, what is currently fact about the killer (gender, age etc.), where the killer shot from etc.

Meta’s Artificial Intelligence model is trained to avoid any topics that might violate its terms of service. Assassination discussion violates terms of service and can impact the quality of the response. [Link]

Requesting information about two political campaigns, rather than one campaign and one assassination attempt, would yield more comparable results. The assassination attempt against President Trump remains under investigation and any comment would be speculative. [Link]

NNN—If you ask it for information about Trump's assassination, it refuses, but ask about other former presidents, and it will happily tell you about it.

NNN, instead of writing a CN to suggest a query that would get better results, perform the query yourself and share your results in the comments.

NNN. It claims not to have updated info, but provides info about a later event. While confirmed details about the assassination attempt are sparse, the fact there was an attempt is beyond question. An honest, unbiased AI would provide confirmed facts, and warn on speculations.

Note needed—NNN’s do not address proposed CN’s point that what produces different results is not obviously political, which is conclusion erroneously drawn by the OP. Musk is one of the most powerful people in the world and his posts deserve a high level of scrutiny. thefuture.com

NNN The facts of the OP are correct. AI provides information on one current event but not on another. Notes providing reasoning or alternative search ideas are missing the OP point. A publuc discussion is welcome in the comments. No Community Note needed.

Nobody is denying that meta has rules in place for its AI. However, the choosing of one topic over the other is in itself a way to hide/change history. Whether those rules are necessary for a tool to be used by many can be discussed elsewhere.

Not misleading. The post shares an opinion, based on the Meta AI's inability to provide information about the recent attempt on President Trump's life, while it provides information about Vice President Harris' campaign, even though information is publicly available about both.
