NNN: Chancellor Reeves announced a cut to Winter Fuel Payments for people not on means-tested benefits. Colloquially, "not claiming benefits" usually means "means-tested benefits". If the OP does not claim a means-tested benefit, they will now be ineligible for WFP, as they said.
