Khelif denies that the IBA ever tested her karyotype, and declared her to be XY simply to disqualify her. Either way, no tests have been made public. Until then, assuming her to NOT be intersex, as she claims, is more likely due to the rarity of the condition. NNN.

If Khelif has a 46,XY DSD which one is not known but as an example AIS is the most common and while people w AIS may have “elevated” levels of testosterone, their body is not able to respond to it.
