The study was made by UNL Beef: "we are committed to the success of the beef industry in Nebraska and beyond". [Link] The study also talks about cows raised on grass, whereas 90% of US production is made indoors, so suggesting bigger meat consuption is misleading. [Link] [Link]

The study and related research suggest that beef production can become more climate-neutral, or even carbon positive, under optimized management practices. However, this doesn't mean that simply raising more cattle inherently reduces greenhouse gases. [Link]
