Red Thread Games wants discussion, but locks the replies to the initial post the image was first posted (where X users quote retweet to "engage discussion). Ergo, Red Thread Games does not want discussion, negative or positive. [Link]

Not only is a note unnecessary, but there's ample evidence of the developers and people who support Dustborn being harrassed over the game. [Link] [Link] [Link]

Dustborn contains several instances of hate speech, harassment, threats and intolerance that you commit as the MC. Additionally, the game centers around removing voices and thoughts that oppose the MC, so it clearly isn't for "everyone to feel safe". [Link]

The post falsely claims that they "embrace discussion and debate". This is obviously not the case or they wouldn't have turned off replies. [Link]

Look, I don't agree with the post either, but there's no note needed here. As bad as it may be this is essentially just an opinion word salad.

They have zero tolerance for hate speech and harrassment but that exactly what they use as gameplay in the game [Link]

They complain about hate and abuse but in their game they literally promote "Bullying" as a legitimate tactic to "force people to do something they dont want to do and make them feel bad about themselves". [Link]

There is no contradiction. Your video game can incentivize actions that we disavow in real life. Video games may incentivize murder, but that doesn't mean devs believe murder is good in real life. Something morally bad *in a video game* is par for the course and not hypocrisy.

NNN - Don't use community notes as a substitute just because the comment section is disabled.

NNN - One post locking comments isn't preventing discussion of the game and multiple proposed notes citing the same post as a source does not refute anything in this post. Don't abuse CN to be petty about a game you don't like.

NNN The game can be bad, and you can not like it, but Community Notes is for facts. Go to the comments if you want to state your opinions and “clever” observations. [Link]

NNN If a game has a shitty MC doesn´t mean the devs are equally and deserve hate speech and harassment. Do you go after devs where a MC is a torturer and label them "torturers"? Besides, there are people that posted gore in their Discord, for no reason or criticism [Link]

NNN - There is no misinformation present in the post. Using Community Notes as a backdoor to express an opinion on the matter is a violation of the CN TOS and all users doing so should be put under review for removal. [Link]

NNN There's obviously a difference between make-believe (the game) and real life. "Hate speech" in the game is towards not real people while hate speech in real life is aimed at real people.
