Misleading without Context in Main Post. Image is out of focus, hence the disk and not point source. Movement is entirely due to diffraction of the light by moving air currents in the Earth's atmosphere (and within the scope tube). Its not the "surface" of the star moving. [Link] [Link]

NNN - CN copy-pasted the information already provided by Curiosity over 17hrs before this CN was written. 'The image here is out of focus, hence the disk. The movement is entirely due to diffraction of the light by moving air currents in the Earth's atmosphere.' [Link]

Stars are point sources of light. The disc like appearance here is because of an out of focus image, atmospheric diffraction, or poor optics. [Link]
