False. The Ottoman Empire never controlled the Atlantic coast and never ruled the Moroccan Empire. Morocco was therefore never an Ottoman province, despite the region (except Morocco) being under Ottoman rule. Sources : [Link] [Link] [Link]

NNN - not only is the proposed note incredibly nitpicky, Ottoman expeditions in the 16th century did bring Morroccu under nominal Ottoman rule [Link]

The map is wrong. Morocco was never under Ottoman rule, despite their control over much of North Africa. The Saadi and Alaouite dynasties successfully kept the Ottomans from gaining control, maintaining Morocco's independence. [Link] [Link] [Link]

There are those who used Wikipedia as evidence that the Ottoman Empire ruled Morocco. Wikipedia is not a site that can be used as evidence or a source of information. It is subject to modification. [Link]

Note **NOT** needed - this is a random shit post there is no need for a note on whether the ottomans ruled Morocco at some point or not. You could nitpick a lot of the territories anyways. It does NOT matter.
