This post is misrepresenting the issue. The issue is about Twitter signing away artists' personal works to train their own AI model. Blue Sky does not do this. [Link] NEEDS_MORE_RATINGS(3-1-7) Author

Public profiles and posts on X are accessible, indexed by search engines, (scrapable), visible, logged out or incognito. X posts can be embedded, visible via API calls and more. Such third party access outside of the platform is what Bluesky's visibility setting warns about. [Link] NEEDS_MORE_RATINGS(2-1-3) Author

the claim that Twitter has a site-wide sign-up block is false. Opening a specific post or the account page of a user is still possible when not logged in using specific URLs. opening this link in an signed-out incognito tab shows that you can still see posts and their media: [Link] NEEDS_MORE_RATINGS(5-0-4) Author

If you have a permalink you can view it now, but there are throttles requiring login. You also need to have the ability to grab a permalink which requires someone logging in. The claims that user profiles can't be hidden from logged out users on bsky application are false. OP specifically points out bsky. [Link] More context is needed, what is given to X are the rights to train via AI, unlike bsky. giving artists less rights over their art and data. [Link][Link] NEEDS_MORE_RATINGS(1-0-1) Author
