This is a meme showing that the EU economy is worsening. By some measures this is true. Real GDP Per Capita in the EU reduced from 2022 to 2023. [Link] There is no axis label on the chart and the arrow is freehand, merely illustrative of “worsening”.

The economy as a whole is not shrinking, but the growth rate has decreased while the GDP per capita growth in the US has greatly surpassed EU's figures. E.g. see figure 8 in [Link]
