The money a consumer spends does not necessarily go to the individuals. All the money goes to cost of living and to taxes. The author is framing individuals as receiver of all that money. This is not correct. [Link]

The value of shares is based on the trust that those shares are likely to survive and have nothing to do with actual funds or money flowing. If no one ends up willing to pay the amounts you see, that same number diminishes as quickly as the author wrote that tweet. [Link]
