It is not. Purchasing concert tickets, is easy and simple. Legally purchasing a firearm in the United States requires an FBI background check. [Link]

NNN. OP did not specify the specifics of either purchase. It is arguably much easier to buy a gun from a private seller (FB Marketplace, gun show, etc) than it is to get tickets for a major show like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. [Link]

It depends on the state. In 33 states private party gun sales are permitted without background check. Federal law (H.R.1025 - Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act) requires background checks on guns sold by federally licensed dealers only. [Link] [Link]

The post is incorrect. Concert tickets don't require background checks or waiting periods. Some types of guns can be purchased relatively easily through this process. Assault weapons are almost impossible to buy for anyone without a commercial license. [Link]

While ticket sellers like Ticketmaster DO rake their customers over the coals with fees, until they impose age limits and start requiring FBI background checks to buy concert tickets, making purchases to attend shows is drastically easier than buying an "assault weapon." [Link] [Link]

OP does not specify legally obtaining a gun, just the ease of doing so. With many loopholes, including private sale, there are still extremely easy ways to obtain a gun without background checks. That"s her entire point.
