The victim list may be >1000 but probably not less than 400 judging from the range of credible sources (i.e. not hundreds of thousands). Here is a link to a summary of convictions with numerous additional links to supporting evidence Table 'Summary of Convictions' [Link]

NNN - Those citing official UK crime data forget that by how these crimes are handled they won't show up in that data. Take it to the comments if you'd like to argue the point.

NNN - The claim is that an ethnic group is 'underrepresented' in the prosecutions. The proposed note submits official prosecution rates, which aren't relevant as the point is that authorities are allegedly contaminated by bias, as it happened in the Rotherham scandal. [Link]

I think Admirable Branch Tern‘s note does add important context, but it should be in the comments. Overall, this post is asking questions and a note is not appropriate. Corrections in the comments are.

The point of the post is that certain ethnic groups are committing gang rapes of children & are being disproportionately prosecuted. Citing “prosecution rates”(not occurrences) & for ALL types child sexual abuse (not just gang rapes) completely misses the point and is irrelevant.

Pioneering Branch Kookaburra, it is not about the absolute numbers, it is about the population adjusted overrepresentation of Pakistanis. Stop abusing CN for partisan politics. [Link]

[Link] The end: - there was a typical wait of nine months from reporting the offence to a suspect being charged, and 11 months from charge to the case concluding in court. - also where children live affects how likely it is that their sexual abuse will be identified and responded to.

Claims that the "majority (83% of suspects out of 75% of population) of suspects are white deliberately leave out the point that these statistics are of cases *prosecuted*. Naturally, when nonwhite cases are not prosecuted, they won't be counted. [Link]
