Macron accused Musk of "directly intervening", but didn't mention "illegal foreign interference". Macron also stated that France would remain a solid ally of the US; prosecuting Musk would be a serious escalation. No analyst has mentioned the possibility of prosecution yet. [Link] [Link]

NNN post clearly says "could" and it does not claim that Macron said those exact words. Not misleading

NN. Even tho the post says it "could" do that, it's still misinformation. [Link]

NNN- post is factual in its claim it could happen and the ideas are being floated around. Also, Musk being attached too Trump's hip does not make jailing him 'escalation' or a breach of ally status. Countries are permitted under multiple international laws to enforce their laws.

While Macron accused Musk of interfering in elections, he did not mention sanctions for Musk or his companies [Link] [Link]

NNN. Reading the entire thread, which provides further context to the “headline” in the first tweet, would prevent the creation of unnecessary CNs.
