Acording to state authorities the U.S. military did not enter the state to turn on the water. The statement said the federal government restarted federal water pumps that were offline for three days for maintenance. [Link]

This isn’t semantics. Trump is misinforming the public to gain political power. The water flow was interrupted per routine & has no effect on water available for fires in So Cal. It goes to Big Ag. See previous links. [Link]
