The Polish official did make those claims. Of course, he didn’t reveal any evidence. Whether one believes the official or not is a personal choice. Attacking the messenger - the journalist who interviewed him or RT - is a logical fallacy. [Link]

NNN: Assad did not personally kill 500,000 people (as one of the Notes claims). It was a proxy war against Syria… waged by US and its allies, who armed & supported Al Qaeda. The current leader of the Syrian rebels was an Al Qaeda leader, for whom the US had $10 million bounty.
