The books were removed by the Conservative party of Ontario, who are members of the same political party as Mr. Poilievre. Unless he's referring to his own political party as being authoritarian and woke and as those censoring books, this is a very misleading/confusing message.

This is incorrect. While in office, Donald Trump declared it to be a terrorist organization, but this wasn't an official declaration by the US, and it was never made official. There was a great deal of pushback from organizations that work with actual terrorism. [Link]
