This is semi-true. The 1935 Macy's Parade was the first one officially referred to as a Thanksgiving parade, but official newspaper ads promoting the parade didn't start referring to it as "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" until 1947. [Link] (the 1935 ad, for example)

The Beagle Scout Snoopy balloon is not the tenth Snoopy balloon to appear at the Macy's Parade; it is the eighth. In addition, the previous Snoopy balloon (Astronaut Snoopy) was used between 2019-2022, not for over 40 years, as the post claims. Source: [Link]
