While it is true AstraZeneca is withdrawing their Covid vaccine worldwide, and have previously admitted it can cause a rare blood clot side effect - this is not the reason for its withdrawal. AstraZeneca are withdrawing the vaccine due to a surplus in other updated vaccines [Link]
