The claim is that the sample tested contained DNA in addition to RNA. DNA, particularly delivered by a plasmid, could indeed replicate in the nucleus. [Link] Plasmid DNA is used in mRNA vaccine production, so it is possible that a vaccine lot could be contaminated with it. [Link]
