This is being misrepresented. No one pays more than 6.2% of their annual income into SS, to a maximum of $168k for 2024 … and cannot claim more than they pay into it. Earning $170k/yr, you’ll pay $10,540. Earning $3M/yr pays the exact same as a billionaire, $168k [Link] [Link]
