The post is an opinion related directly to the current H1-B controversy, in which the visas are only granted for work rather than long-term citizenship; the difference being that H1-B workers are only around for as long as they are employed. [Link]

This is in relation to is the recent controversy surrounding the H1-B visa. It's worth noting that working under an H1-B (non-immigrant) visa gives disproportionate power to employer, since the worker may be at risk of deportation if the employer fires them. [Link]
