The assertion that the people targeted by the drone are civilians is difficult to substantiate. The injured appear to be wearing military fatigues. There is also no independent confirmation that the drone operator is Ukrainian. [Link]

Added context: It’s impossible to determine the nationality of the operator. However it should be said Ukraine always has a logo from the operating brigade on their videos. Plus, the distance from frontline to Donetsk city is 10+ miles, with a lot of EW and AD in place. [Link]

There is no evidence to suggest who the drone operator was or that the targets were "civilians." Unedited footage clearly shows the targets, in a russian occupied city, were armed with assault rifles and wearing green military fatigues, and thus lawful targets. [Link]

It's not in Donetsk city but Staromykhailivka, 15km west of Donetsk City, 4km from frontline; these are not civilians but soldiers: they wear weapons and/or have red color bands; the footage is from Feb '23 [Link]

This is false. The footage is from 24th-26th of February 2023 (1 year ago), and is located in Staromykhailivka, 15km west of Donetsk City (4km from the frontlines). The “civilians” are actually russian soldiers, which is evident from their military clothing and weapons. [Link]
